Allan- Sounds like a great trip. Which route do you plan when you leave Oklahoma City for Denver. One way is to take I-40 west to Amarillo, TX, and then Northwest to Raton, NM and Through Trinidad, Colorado, where I live. If you go north from OKC, you can catch I-70 west to Denver, but the distances are about the same. Either way, it's a LONG drive to Denver, and you might need a stopping off point.
