Hi Giz, the chain about the neck/bag on the person, I've found is a good and working method, I too am loathe to be without my rings, but on the occasions when I have to remove them (I work with nasty chemicals sometimes and rings can create problems with rubber gloves especially thin surgicals) I find they are as effective on a chain around my neck and safely out of the way.
