Escherichia Coliform bacteria (e coli) is the main constituent of fecal matter. Human (and Super Human) life cannot exist apart from it as it is the ultimate digester of our food (fuel) intake. In fact an argument could be made that in our symbiotic relationship with the bacteria, it is the Human who provides service to the bacteria. After all, it lives in the gut of most higher orders of animals and even lives independently in the soil!

So, Superman must have super e coli and it would be logical to assume that it is this Super Shit that gives Mr. Kent his power and not just the yellow star we orbit. Therefore, you too can become a Super person just by finding his Super Spoor and eating the same and starting a Super colony in your gut! Alas, Superman has his shit together and I doubt you will ever find any to eat. Such a pity!
