Think it may be polite to approach the landlord and ask what time the youngster can stay till. Our young players have all gone to uni now but they stayed till about 10pm.

Also may be nice to ask the musicians if they are happy to have a youngster playing along with them. Very much depends on how encouraging they are.   Its all part of session ettiquette.

I think its great to encourage young players.
