You guys really overlooked one of the main dangers of city dudes moving to the country ( and yes, there's still some country left here in CA, but it's going fast!). It seems all the megopoli are where the political blue is situated. What's going to happen when they move out here in the stick and they have to actually start thinking for themselves? Why, within a year or two they will have learned to think logically (that is, if they want to survive and not be a member of Darwin's "Also Rans"). And then when they turn their new intellectual power to politics, all bets are off. More red in rural America!
