Barbara--

Hey, me too! Western Oregon, near heaven on earth if you don't mind 4 feet of rain a year.

If you want more info on John Tams, a friend and I are currently obsessing over the man and his singing. He *finally* is putting out a solo cd, titled "Unity" and released by Topic records in the UK. It will be available April 25, and you can get all the info you want at the Topic website.

As for more John Tams, singing and/or compositions, check out the following cd's:

Alright Jack, The Home Service The Mysteries, The Home Service Early Transmissions, The Home Service Rise Up Like The Sun, Albion Band The BBC Sessions, Albion Band Larkrise to Candleford, Albion Band The Music of Sharpe, Tams, Muldowney, Rusby, Boyes, etc. The Prospect Before Us, Albion Band

If you want a place to start, Alright Jack or Rise Up get my vote. They're a mix of folk, and rock/folk, but he sings lead on both albums all the way through, and they're to die for for that alone. The other albums are fun, too, really fun and well-done every one

And The Tams definitely gets my vote for Sexiest Folk Singer alive!!!!!
