Yes. These days I often type a response to a post, then just 'walk away' without submitting it.

It makes me feel a lot better knowing I haven't been sucked in by the 'spew'.

Discipline isn't quite so easy, because human nature makes us feel that we want to win... but sometimes the only way we really win is by retreating!
