And white "entrepeneurs" come in and try to take advantage of them because of this -- stuff like putting in highly polluting industries and getting them to waive cleanup (as happened, and the Tribal Business Council reportedly replied "We might be Indians, but we're not dumb Indians!").

I have long failed to understand why some people, of whatever ancestry, feel that they are superior to others because of their religion, skin color, or whatever.
