Thread Name: Lyr Req: Mama, italian words, phonetically
Subject: RE: Lyr Req: Mama, italian words, phoenetically
MBO, thank you - I'll be waiting those words to complete the song (if you want to post the phonetics too, please go ahead)

Joe, thanks for the reference ! Some time we'll talk about Italian songs..

rolsin, I'll get a MIDI version (for you to listen by means of WinAmp or any Windows MIDI player) or to write down to paper if you have CakeWalk, Encore or similar.

CrowHugger, you make me smile : all wannabe tenors who consider themselves NOT a shouting tenor, is because THEY CAN'T !! HA HA HAHA ! That's the truth ! Of course there is a matter of taste - if you put Pavarotti to sing Greensleeves, or Amazing Grace, you'll find that 1) he is unable to pronounce a foreign language acceptably and 2) it will probably sound similar to Celeste Aida. However, you can bet that 99% of singers would do anything to have a voice like his, and perform a Celeste Aida !
Myself, am a mix of smooth emotional singing and a loud firm presence, mainly because more than that I CAN'T !!
In my favor I can say that I don't use amplification except some rare ocassions when I have a full jazz band behind me. When more than half of audience and musicians leave, than I turn the mic off again. :))
Un abrazo - Andrés
