I wish Beckham well. He muffed a couple of penalties for England. He also put a few important ones away. In the game against Ecuador in the last World Cup, he literally played his guts out - and his goal saved England. That was not the only time it happened. None of the greats performed brilliantly every time they went out. Beckham had more good days than most. In ten or twenty years time, English football fans will be mourning the fact that we have not got another Beckham. Good luck to the man in whatever he does now.
