I lived in a building once that had two staircases up to the bedrooms and it was very nice. But it isn't common, at least in MY experience (in a socio-economic group that manages a second story and a basement, but usually only one staircase between floors).

Eight Simple Rules was actually a very funny program, we watched it every week for the first year or two. But when John Ritter died they had to figure out how to replace their star, and it was difficult. I like James Garner but never quite figured out why David Spade was in there. As viewers, we drifted away.
