Apart from his obvious ability which has made him one of our best ever, the great thing about Beckham is that he puts everything into his game. His new bosses can look forward to 110% commitment on and off the field, all done in an understated, almost self-effacing way which I think does him credit.

Many people try to put him down as being thick, well;

1) He's done pretty well for a thicko

2) Since when was being thick a crime?

3) What do you suggest he does about his thickness?

Or is it just a bit of jealousy perhaps.
