My father, Amherst '53, used to sing a version with a chorus that went something like this:
Chicka cha loo, cha loo, Japan
Allopy, wallopy, chicka cha lallopy
Chicka cha loo, cha loo, Japan
Allopy wallopy China man
We sang it on long car trips to Canada in the 1960s, along with other ethnic favorites.
