Th point I was trying to make is: I don't disagree it's a good thing to eat healthy food and cut out the fat and sugar, etc. - but I don't agree that legislation is the way to go about it.

Of course fruit, veg, etc. is better for you than fat, lard, choccies, cake, sugar, sweets, junk food, etc., etc.

Nobody is disputing that fact.

But do we think we should have laws saying you can't eat these things? I think not, but I wouldn't be opposed to taxation on them, to make them less attractive on cost grounds.

Banning foods is the thin end of a very dangerous wedge, IMO.

Is it only me that thinks that?!
