Out of courtesy I e mailed Dave The Gnome who started this thread back in 2004. He replied and took a look. Also I have since had an e mail from Bernard with a view to doing the interview he mentioned so it looks like that can be put together.

Interesting for me as I have never heard this song that you guys speak of. I am looking forward to hearing it!

As a side note to Chris: You are right about Tony McCabe, he is mentioned in teh article I scanned above. What else do you know fo him? Also, you mention drinking with Billys daughter in The Royal Oak in Gorton, would that have been Ivy?
