Dan,

I heard the story. Today, I checked Lexis-Nexis, and the transcript is now available. Transcripts can be great fun, since they don't usually reflect the original very well, especially when music is involved. Here were my favorite parts:

SIMON: Enough of this chit-chat. Can we hear a song?
Mr. MILNER: I'd like to get one of The Johnson Girls, Dierdre Murtha, to lead us in the song.
SIMON: Sure.
Mr. MILNER: Dierdre?
(Soundbite of song)

And, a bit later:
Ms. MURTHA and Mr. MILNER: (Singing) Ripe all day, follididdle(ph) day, ripe all right all follididdle day.

And finally:
SIMON: Dan Milner is founder of the New York Packet. The group will be singing sea chanties this weekend down at the South Street Seaport in Manhattan.
(Soundbite of music)

SIMON: Hey, in the wee ...(unintelligible) there's not much foam. Oh, 22 minutes before the hour.
