Isnt KMC what you take on long cold journeys in frozen temperatures? Dont know what you're supposed to do with it? eat it? rub it on your cold bits or stuff it in your boots - someone at work mentioned it. Thought I'd just pass the advice for those venturing out in these very dangerous conditions.

Oh the snow? its all gone!

There's plenty round where I live (N Herts). The roads seem mostly OK now though, apart from where I live where they were still treacherously slippery this morning.

As for KMC, I suppose you could try rubbing it on your cold bits (ooerr missus!) or stuff it in your boots, but it probably wouldn't do you much good. It's a sort of sugary peppermint stuff, that you eat. It comes in bars a bit like bars of chocolate - in fact you can get the chocolate covered version, which is much nicer (slurp!). I think it was taken by climbers in the Lake District (and further afield, like Everest!) as part of their emergency rations, for energy (from the sugar content, mainly).
