I have one of the oil filled radiators that was about $50 at Home Depot a year or two ago. I use it in the dogs' stall in the garage in really cold weather. I chose it because it doesn't have any moving parts or glowing wires or flame. Put one of those in the smallest room in the house and you'll sleep toasty.
