I agree about the layers of clothing and a hat. Worked form me when I had an outdoor bookstall that I ran through winters of 86 - 91 in East Anglia till c.8p.m. I think it was the hat.

    Also something that's barely been touched on - food. Food creates heat,as anyone whose gone a long period without eating will know.

    So eat.
