I used to go to the Pied Piper at Osmotherly and the Black Horse at Swainby --- both sunday nights I think. I remember Dave Martin , Frankie Porter and Ian Morrison and a singer called Jim Downes who were the blue anchor.Jim's sister Jillian used to sing as well.
Is it the warm glow of youth, or were they really great nights?
