Looking for the earliest verifiable printing of thus verse:

Oh, Freedom, Oh, Freedom
Oh Freedom over me
And before I'd be a slave
I'll be buried in my grave
And go home to my Lord and be free.

It has been attributed to Black soldiers of the Civil War, to the Labor movement, and to the Civil Rights movement.
