Just a bit of slightly related useless information:

Before they became Brian & Michael, they were known as Berk & Jerk and were probably the funniest act I have EVER seen anywhere. They did a floor spot at the Ring o' Bells folk club in Middleton, Manchester in the mid 70s but they didn't get booked as they weren't folk.

A few years after their song about L.S. Lowry I saw their names appear in the Legal Notices section of the Manchester Evening News, they had gone bankrupt. Sad.
