My dog once tried to jump across the lay-by type thingy at the side of the canal at Tardebigge Locks, didn't quite make it and did a 'tom and jerry' type stunt sliding down the wall in slow-motion into the water. You should read 'The Lock-keepers Daughter' cant remember her name now, wonderful story about growing up on the canal, even more interesting for us up here cos she lived at Tardebigge.
