Bruce, the last time I saw or heard anything of Walter Greaves, he was living at Craven Forge, on the right-hand side of the A650 when travelling from Kildwick to Skipton. At one time the council wanted to throw him out because they considered the place to be untidy. There was a petition raised to stop the eviction. If I remember rightly he tidied up a bit and was allowed to stay. That would be 25 years ago or more.
