Back in the Thirties jukeboxes used to come with 3 minute silent records.This was so employees working in locations where jukeboxes were used could enjoy brief respite from other people's choice of music(It goes without saying they had to pay for the privilege.)
Taking this into account,I would respectfully suggest that the Cage piece should properly be considered a regional variant of a pre-existing work.:0)
