One of the lovely ladies from Artisan told me there was another verse after I'd sung Mrs Holroyd in a club in Devon. Something about a railway train she said. I spent a lot of time trying to find it; I never did. So I did the decent, long establised folk thing and wrote one.

When we got on the train back home
It were eventide.
We were both so worn out
We just flopped down inside.
Our lass said she were dying for a lovely cup o' tea
"Happen they've a flask next door John,
Just nip in and see".
The windows in the next compartment were steamed up all the way
And as I peered throught t' misty glass
I had to smile and say.
