I love folk song but have no musical knowledge.
A good friend of mine said this.
"If you will allow me to say such a thing, I find Folk Music a bit lacking in harmonic variety -- generally no minor keys. Hence my attraction to Jazz. But I welcome the richness of current music idioms of all types, and the way styles have crossed over. "
