Ok, lets have only schools that hire million-dollar coaches and recruit athletes from around the world. Amateur athletics? No, just semi-pro.

It's fun to see those that spend their money on academics upset a USC or Notre Dame or North Carolina or Florida once in a while. That is why I watch March Madness.

Incidentally, both George Mason and Va. Commonwealth are large state-supported schools with world class research programs leading to doctorate degrees, and they harbor a Nobel prize winner or two.
