Hi all,

I've recently (in feb) lost my dad, he'd got over a primary cancer before my wedding in September 06 - only to be got again by another primary cancer (small cell cancer of the lungs) by Christmas and was given weeks to live, he died in Feb. We managed to do some last things together for which I'll be eternally grateful. I've been distraught, I miss him daily and the pain is huge, but a few things are helping me along this journey. My t'other half, me mum, family, friends and reading the mudcat forum for distraction. Thanks too for the lovely messages I've had from a few mudcatters who are friends known to me and friends I've not yet met. So thanks V much.

Take each day as it comes, love alot, talk alot and share thoughts and memories. Carpe Diem! You don't know what's around the corner.

Thanks all for your unintentional or unknown cheering up of, and for the threads that have made me laugh and cheered me up somewhat.
