Well Bernard I must admit you had me flummoxed, but when I clicked on the links on the page you point out, it took me straight to Aran sweaters made in Ireland. The only thing I can find is this from the Scots Isle of Arran, and that seems to feature designs by a named person on said island.
I shall keep looking, but as a child I spent holidays on the Isle of Arran, and I never yet saw an Arran sweater in the sense of a traditional design, as per the Aran sweater of which we scoff.
