I believe that when Bob wrote this, the second line of verse #1 went "Then you shall have my heart and hand and all the love that's in it." The inconsistency bothered me enough (and probably SHOULD have bothered Bob, who later became a professional copy editor!) to keep me from singing the song much, and I'm pleased to see this edit, but wondering why I never thought of it myself!
