If a repairer chooses not to work on an instrument,that is his prerogative.
this particular person makes Violins and mandolins and probably resents,chinese[low price] fiddles[they are low price] because the workers are not paid the proper price for their labour.
I understand that quality violin makers in cremona are worried about going out of business,.
problems with the action rising. it means that its got so high beyond the seventh fret that its unplayable,it is a shame because otherwise its a good guitar,not in the same league as my Fylde,which cost ten times more,and upon which I can go up to twelfth fret, nO problem.
Obviously Iwould like to be able to get my vintage guitar repaired.
