Yeah, I'm afaid it doesn't matter what music program you use, Sharon - you have to learn about files. The best way to do that is to play with your computer until you mess things up royally a few times. Sooner or later, the frustration will force you to learn. It really isn't all that tough, but a lot of people give up before they figure that out. For that reason, we all have many friends with virtually-unused computers.
Sharon, as I understand it, your MusicTime program should work quite well, just as well as Noteworthy Composer. Don't give up. Once you get the hang of it, you'll find you can run most computer programs without even looking at the manual.
