I'm with Ebbie and those who now have a new admiration for The Donald after watching that interview...distractions not withstanding. He nailed it. No holds barred. Had Bush on the mat in 3, 2, 1. Don't mind me, I'm just a little punchy after that interview. I didn't disagree with one thing he said, although, I quit right after his political comments. Maybe he is thinking about running. He wouldn't have any trouble raising funds for a campaign. He'd be better than the current shrub, although at this point, I think almost anyone would be. I blogged on another site a while back about this guy in PA, who got a visit from the Secret Service after he'd written a letter to a local paper's editor; a practice he's had for many years. I'll see if I can hunt it up. I forget the specifics, but it was a no-brainer that he wasn't a threat to the president or the country. All these wasted resources. I once saw a show on PBS about Air Force 1 and how much it costs to maintain it just on the ground each day. Am I alone in thinking that Bush, jr. is the flyingest president we've ever had? Does he ever stay in DC? Think about how much it costs to fly. The FBI has to secure sites wherever he goes. Guys have to walk hand-in-hand down the runways of every airport he's going to visit. Limos. I'm sure that costs a bundle. I also think he's the most insecure president we've ever had...always has to have a roomful of glad-handers patting him on the back. And I'm surprised that the military puts up with his show-boating considering how his national guard duty went. Do you know that that "mission-accomplished" photo op where he flew onto that aircraft carrier in that two-seater jet kept the troops returning from their missions onboard that carrier for an extra month waiting for the president to arrive?
