Ok, Sharon, download midi file into MusicTime directly and go from there. I have win 3.1 so I get more messages and directions that win 95 (or so I have been told). I'm really bad about reading instruction fully and didn't find out about midi changing until the last few months, after I had owned MT for about a year. I agree with Joe. I have learned more by experimenting and having to redo (and reread the manual). By the by, for tunes I can't find on the net, I sit at my computer with MT and my dulcimer and tune source beside and write and tab it. So combine the three.
