Anyway...

I'll sometimes have a very good brandy while I sing if I have a cold. Or a liquor with a very smooth, buttery, texture.   But generally I just ask the waiteress for some bread and butter.
Seamus Kennedy swears by candied ginger. Probably as many remedies as there are vocalists with colds.
