First of all, best wishes for the Edwards family as they go through another round of cancer treatment. I am wondering, as is the country, how this will affect the political landscape...I like him, probably would like him as president but I would have always preferred Obama as president and Edwards as vice and I think, if they are personally compatible, that it would be a good team. My speculation is that he might end up in this position for various reasons, and high among them is his wife's health and the fact he has very young children. I could also see him as running for VP with Hillary but I could not see Obama being her VP..

Anyway, wondering what others see in terms of the political ramifications of this. I am sure everyone share in hopes for her ongoing health to be good. mg
