Thanks for all your thoughts. His mother is doing amazingly well but his peer group is a mess. He was a 2000 graduate (graduated with my older daughter) and a boyfriend of my younger girl. It is truly unbelievable.......I can't absorb it. He always came to visit us when he was home whether the girls were here or not.....he was a good kid and for some reason, it never occurred to me that he wouldn't get through -- he could talk so fast I figured if all else failed he would talk himself out of trouble.......
