I was in NJ myself for several months winter-before-last ('05-'06) but never did meet up with as many Mudcatters as I might have.

I was pleased and privileged to borrow a guitar from Tinker, and later to return it, making for two visits to her home up in Montclair. Once I attended a benefit show at South Street Seaport in NYC for our shantey-singing group in New Orleans, and a few of the folks I met there had Mudcat connections. Also, on one one of my many trips back and forth between my childhood home in New Jersey and my current home in New Orleans, I managed a stopover in Luray, VA, for a brief visit with the one and only Bobert.

I had plenty of other idle daydreams about showing up for visits and/or events from Delaware to New England, but never actually did so.

Now that I'm back home in New Orleans, of course, I would be glad for any of you to visit me. Drop me a PM if you're interested in the devastation tour, the inside scoop on live local music options, etc.
