Clinton's flaw was the approval of the WTO. Fair Trade, by contrast, is being addressed now, but it's not being implemented easilly. Some are dealing with this.

Corporations own our elected officials, Demasses and Rethugs. The only real recourse is to take advice from Reverend Billy and stop shopping. Don't support the products that are corporate-owned and WTO friendly such as from Procter and Gamble, Sara Lee, Walmart, Starbucks, Exxon, etc. Be wary as to how you buy things. Be informed as to who is selling you what. Caveat Emptor has a whole new meaning nowadays.
