Liz, I AM the old crone!! And if the bed is occupied, I could always share, depending on who it's occupied by?!

Once again, thanks guys. With family and friends to be thankful for we are still blessed.

The cat was operated on today and had his shattered jaw wired. When we last heard he was not out from under the anaesthetic but the jaw wiring had gone very well and he seemed to be ok. We did keep telling him not to go across the road! We have nothing out the back but fields but the other side of the road has always been more interesting to him. Maybe this will make him think twice in future! I've had two cats before that have been hit by cars and survived, (one of them with the same injuries as this) and both ended up being VERY wary of cars and lived well into their teens

Love Lynne
