Okay, my mistake. Sorry I got defensive.
I don't know why Christy Moore isn't bigger in the U.S. I've played him a number of times on my radio program and get very little reaction. I think he is a superb singer and interpreter of song - but I don't find his songwriting in the same league as a Dylan.
