Main Street will give you a view of a lot of stuff--since we have artists coming in from far-flung places like Indiana I can't claim that it is Texas arts. . .

The Water Garden reopened a couple of months ago in the south end of downtown south of the convention center. That's a nice place to visit while in the area. It's a spot where films and television programs have been filmed, so it might look familiar.

What all are you planning as a tourist, Toobusybee? If you have the feet for it, we have a fantastic collection of museums in the cultural district, west of downtown. There are the usual tourist spots of the Stockyards and the Fort Worth Zoo. There are interesting things in the region, and because it isn't too hot yet and it is still green and wildflowers are out in profusion, there are some great drives. Let me know what you're interested in and I can recommend a couple of pretty drives (based on the time you have, the kind of destination or sights you want to see, etc.)
