My wife and I go to the Omni theater in the science center probably once a month. I do a "strolling folkie" gig about every six weeks down at Sundance Square and that's a lot of fun - there's always something going on at Sundance with great restaurants and the
8.0 Bar with their outdoor music stage.

Don't forget the miniature railroad car ride over by the zoo off of University - some good restaurants over there, too (Hoffbrau Steaks and one of the BEST greasy spoons in all of Texas - The Old South Pancake House - best time to go there is after midnight).

Our favorite Mexican place is up on Camp Bowie a couple of miles out from the Cultural District - The Original Mexican Restaurant - great enchiladas and the best beans around. By the way, the OMR is right
across the street from a pretty good seafood restaurant, too. I spent twenty-four years in Dallas and now five in Fort Worth (better known as Hockeytown South) and Dallas can't hold a candle. Oh, yeah, can't forget the Stockyards and their restaurants and shops and stores - great stuff. Have a good time. Cheers.
