Well, I started the thread, and I was annoyed when it was hijacked by posters wondering who the subject of the "you're so vain" attack was aimed at.BUT,maybe, all this "celeb" talk has answered my question, because the only way Carly's line " You're you vain, you probably think this song is about you" could make sense, is if the song isn't about anybody! So that if anyone thinks it is about them, they are indeed being vain.
