What I find hard to believe is that Sam Tyler got paid in 1973. We have new officers joining all the time and it takes months before our pay branch get around to recognising their existence and giving them some money. The 1973 Mancherster police pay branch must have been super efficient to come to terms with someone dropping in from the future and making sure his pay cheque came through every month!
