To see the modest bit of Mississippi I will be on, googleearth "McDonalds Corners Ontario Canada" --I'm taking the river from where county road 8 crosses it at the foot of Dalhousie Lake. Just a couple of miles down and back--a handy stretch of calm open water to warm up on. I expect to see muskrats if nothing else.
