Well, I guess it was better than playing a recorder with a giraffe (Canadian content, folks). I never understood why Friendly was so successful. Of course in Toronto we also had BUFFALO'S TOM JOALS (sp?) -- now there was a snazzy program -- Commander Tom. I could never get used to seeing him do the weather in later years....
