Can you help spread the word on this festival. This is a first and "The Widders" Border Morris have ploughed a lot of work and effort into pulling this off, it promises to be a great day:

Two Rivers have announced the CHEPSTOW FOLK FESTIVAL over the weekend of 6th, 7th and 8th July 2007.

The Festival will celebrate the full range of Folk Music and Dance with twenty two performers and three hundred Dancers booked to date. Headlining in the fantastic Chepstow Castle will be Eliza Carthy (6th) and Dick Gaughan and Allan Taylor (7th).

Performances will take place inside the Castle and at a variety of indoor and outdoor venues across a traffic free Chepstow Town.

Further attractions to include: Music Dance and Traditional Craft Workshops; Ceilidh; Country Market; Beer Festival; Perry and Cider Festival; Medieval Food Festival; Street Fair; Mass Sunday Morris Procession and Dance - Out; Wye River Trips; Family Fun Day…

The campsite is free to weekend wristband holders (£5.00 per pitch per night to day ticket holders).

The Two Rivers Folk Festival organisers are committed to the organisation of community based events, based on the varied and rich heritage and traditions of the Welsh / English border lying between the two mighty rivers the Wye and the Severn.

The over-riding aim of Two Rivers is to involve the local and wider community in as many ways as possible, and to provide a showcase for skills and talents, whether they be practical or organisational.
