The very best way for any Englishman to celebrate St.George"s Day is to join the Campaign For An English Parliament. It is very easy---just look it up on the internet !! I was AMAZED to discover, within the last two days, that ,OFFICIALLY , England does NOT EXIST in Europe !! Scotland, YES !! Because they have a parliament, and therefore a representative at the European Parliament in Brussels .Wales, YES!! Because they have a National Assembly, and ,therefore a representative at the European Parliament in Brussels . But ENGLAND is NOT, yes! NOT represented at the European Parliament in Brussels , because there is NO ENGLISH PARLIAMENT !!! We are the ONLY country in the EU that is not officially recognised as a country !! So Brussels "recognises " Scotland, and Wales, and the United Kingdom, of course, ---But not England !! That"s why, on a census form ,or any other form come to that, you can"t tick a box to say that your"e English. Sad, isn"t it ?? Mind you, you could always go down the pub and watch football ,I suppose-----Have a few Britneys, then go home for a Melvyn, if you get my meaning ?? Patriotism"s too much hassle, innit ??
